Replant Day

Replant Day is the largest, one-day, student-led, environmental service project in the nation! Replant Day strives to improve the Bryan/College Station community, bring students together through tradition, and provide an avenue for environmental service in action through an annual tree planting event.

Based at Texas A&M, Student Government Association’s Aggie Replant committee is dedicated to organizing and hosting it's annual tree planting event, Replant Day. Replant Day is deeply rooted in tradition, beginning in 1991 with 40 volunteers led by EIC officer Scott Hantman. Twenty-seven years later, Replant Day has expanded to include hundreds of Aggie volunteers while they plant anywhere from 250-500 trees throughout the surrounding community. Additionally, Aggie Replant works year round to raise funds so that the trees can be provided at no cost.
