Plant Site Application

The following form is for those who would like to apply to host a plant site on Replant Day! Hosting a plant site allows Texas A&M students access to your property to plant trees for approximately two (2) hours on Replant Day, which has been scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd, 2017. Please read and complete the following form accordingly.

Our Mission

Aggie Replant thanks you for the opportunity to offer our services to the community. We hope that Aggie Replant has reflected the values of our mission statement: to improve the Bryan and College Station community, bring students together through tradition, and provide an avenue for environmental service and action.

Thank you for your interest in participating in our tradition at Texas A&M University.

Availability

Aggie Replant is available to plant at homes or sites within Brazos County, but we require a minimum of ten (10) trees to be planted.

All residential areas must have power and water lines marked by the appropriate city authority prior to Replant Day.

Replant Day has been scheduled for Sunday, October 22nd, 2017, beginning at 8:00 AM. Aggie Replant will notify you of the scheduled planting time prior to the event. (More information to come as we get closer to the planting event.)

Approximate size of planting area in acres.
Minimum of 10.
Every year, Aggie Replant receives more plant site applications than we can accommodate, and many hosts are interested in potential participation in future Replant Days. If your site is not selected for Replant Day 2017, then would you be interested in potentially hosting a plant site for Replant Day 2018 or Replant Day 2019?
If you are interested in participating in a future Replant Day, then would you be interested in receiving 12" to 18" seedlings. These would be planted across a property with greater acreage, where hundreds of seedlings could be accommodated, and they would be native tree species, which are more drought tolerant and better suited to the Brazos Valley.
Agreement and Signature

By submitting this application, I agree to provide SGA Replant with temporary access to the designated planting site if my site proposal is accepted. If modifications or cancellations must be made, I agree to notify SGA Replant a minimum of three weeks prior to Replant Day.

If chosen, I assume all responsibility and costs of mowing, watering, and general upkeep of plant sites used on Replant Day, and agree to notify SGA Replant of any pertinent safety issues which may endanger SGA Replant members and volunteers.
