Howdy Replanters! The following information is important for Aggie Replant 2017!

General Committee Meetings:

Bi-Weekly Tuesdays at 7:30PM in Koldus 144.

Please note:

We would love to see you at our general committee meetings, even if you have not yet applied online! 

Sub-Committee Meetings:

These bi-weekly meetings are held the weeks after general committee meetings, and the date, time and location are determined by sub-committee executive members.

If you are unable to submit the application, then please come by one of our meetings to speak to an executive, or you can also email us directly at aggiereplant@gmail.com.

Aggie Replant Committee Application: Fall 2017
SGA Grade Policy: All members of the Student Government Association shall: (a) Have at least a 2.00 overall grade point ratio for undergraduate students and at least a 3.00 grade point ratio for graduate students at the time of election, selection, or appointment. Post at least a 2.00 grade point ratio for undergraduate students and at least a 3.00 grade point ratio for graduate students for the semester prior to election, selection, or appointment. Post at least a 2.00 grade point ratio for undergraduate students and at least a 3.00 grade point ratio for graduate students for the regular semester during the term of office. (b) Be in good standing with the University and enrolled in at least six credit hours in a regular semester during the term of office. (c) Be removed from office should the student fail to maintain the above requirements.

Aggie Replant Sub-Committees:

Development

This sub-committee consists of those members who strive to develop and strengthen the Aggie Replant Committee. Our committee developers endeavor to maintain positivity and enthusiasm within the Aggie Replant Committee and grow the bonds of friendship and comradery between all Aggie Replanters and Aggie Replant Sub-Committees! They are responsible for planning team-building exercises, synthesizing inspirational programs and organizing socials for Aggie Replanters throughout the semester.

Fundraising

This sub-committee is responsible for securing funds for Aggie Replant's annual Replant Day in the fall and the journey to Bastrop State Park in the spring! The fundraising sub-committee solicits donations and sponsors, and these members research grant opportunities. Most importantly, this sub-committee creates and plans fundraisers for the entire committee's participation!

Publicity

This sub-committee is primarily tasked with the advertisement of our annual Replant Day in the fall and our journey to Bastrop State Park in the spring! They are responsible for the education of student-volunteers as to the mission of Aggie Replant and for to the recruitment of new members into our organization. Our publicists also design and distribute Aggie Replant and Replant Day merchandise, including stickers, posters, t-shirts, and other creations! This sub-committee is also responsible for distributing information about Aggie Replant to fellow Aggies, alumni and the community.

Tree Team

The Tree Team is responsible for maintaining our Texas A&M Riverside Tree Farm and caring for its trees! Tree Team is also responsible for securing and inspecting potential planting sites for Replant Day! Members of this sub-committee learn about various tree species and how to properly plant them, and they plan our workdays at Tree Farm! No previous knowledge of trees is neccessary, but a desire to learn and willingness to get dirty and commit to hard work and long hours is essential!

Membership Requirements:

Attend a minimum of (2) committee meetings monthly, held bi-weekly Tuesdays at 7:30 pm.

Attend at least (2) work-days per semester.

Attend a minimum of (1) fundraiser per month.

Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPR, in accordance with SGA policies.

Notice:
